Alysia Lucas, RCSWI
(Virtual in Florida)
Registered Social Work Intern
In this space, you will feel welcomed, understood, and comfortable enough to talk openly about what’s really going on.
I work with teens, adults, couples, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and seasons when life feels stuck.
Whether you’re facing a recurring conflict, feeling disconnected, or noticing how past experiences affect you today, we can explore what’s happening together. You don’t need to arrive with all the answers, we’ll start where you are.
My Approach
My approach is empathetic, supportive, and nonjudgmental. Together, we’ll explore the connections between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and identify opportunities for meaningful change.
I draw from Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring our work to your needs and what brings you to therapy.
For clients who would like it, faith can also be part of the therapeutic process. You don’t have to know exactly what’s wrong or what needs to change, we can figure that out together.
